New York Knicks Receive: G Spencer Dinwiddie, F Josh Green, F Davis Bertans, 2022 First-Round Pick
Dallas Mavericks Receive: F Julius Randle, G Alec Burks
Of course, this would not be the first time that the Dallas Mavericks and New York Knicks got together for business. Kristaps Porzingis was traded in a blockbuster deal a while back.
Now a member of the Washington Wizards, Porzingis did not work out and Dallas could be interested in another forward coming out of New York.
In this deal, Julius Randle and Alec Burks, who has one year left on his contract, would be the return going to the Mavericks. They would add a frontcourt star and more backcourt depth — replacing Dinwiddie after moving him.
In order to entice the Knicks to part with Randle, they would send Spencer Dinwiddie, Josh Green, and Davis Bertans with a first-round pick. The value isn’t great, but Randle’s down season reflects that.
