TyTy Washington Jr. would be a fantastic fit for a Spurs team that has looked to push the pace a lot this season. His quickness in conjunction with his quick decision-making would be an ideal fit.
The Spurs are in a strange grey area between playoff contention and bottom-dwelling, as evidenced by their consecutive Play-In appearances. He would help the Spurs pick a direction – if he arrives NBA ready he could push the team to the playoffs. Meanwhile, if he needs time to develop, the Spurs could continue to focus on their youth movement.
Washington’s scoring mindset would be a great fit especially with the Spurs’ star of the future in Murray. Murray is a longer guard who can compensate for his size on the defensive end. On offense, Murray’s tendency for facilitation would allow him to set him up with good looks.
