Don’t fret about CJ McCollum and his pesky winning ways. The Thunder would have no trouble offloading him in a separate transaction. For that matter, they could probably get a first-round pick for him.

Meanwhile, the Pelicans build an incredible young team with this trade. Realistically, it’s the type of team the Thunder would like to build with all those draft picks.
