Nikola Jokic and Kevin Durant could be the most unstoppable offensive pairing in NBA history. It is genuinely difficult to conceive of a more potent duo. With Jokic’s ability to draw a double in the post and whip a perfect pass to a teammate, imagine if one of those teammates was Kevin Durant.

There are so many ways to frame this. The best scorer in the league and the best passer in the league. The best isolation player and the best one-man offensive system. The Slim Reaper and Big Honey. Wow.

It probably won’t ever happen. Durant seems entrenched in Brooklyn, for both business and basketball reasons. Jokic is an unrestricted free agent in just two summers. The safe money is on him returning to Denver, but anything could happen.
