Orlando Magic
The Orlando Magic were the team that drafted Mo Bamba. Could they be the team to re-sign him next?
This all depends on the relationship between the two sides. It might have been easy to get frustrated with Bamba’s lack of consistency and his injury problems.
For Bamba, he was thrown into trade rumors last offseason since he was entering the final year of his contract. This is the business of the game but it might have changed to this point.
After a season where he played 71 games, the value around Bamba might be a bit different. At this point, the Magic will not be able to get anything for him so why not take a chance on a low-risk deal?

Orlando has plenty of young talent, such as Cole Anthony and Jalen Suggs, in the backcourt. Bamba would join Wendell Carter Jr. as forwards who could stick around long term.
Despite being in the league for four years, Bamba is just 23 years old. There is plenty of time left for him to develop into a productive big man. It would be extremely beneficial if the Magic can get something out of him after making Bamba a top pick in the past.
