Oklahoma City Thunder Receive: C Nic Claxton (via sign-and-trade)
Brooklyn Nets Receive: F Kenrich Williams, C Mike Muscala
The Brooklyn Nets are in win-now mode, so they will be on the search for any players that fit that timeline this offseason.
Nicolas Claxton has been solid when called upon, but with other more affordable options on the roster, the Nets could opt to move on from him and round out the roster.
As a restricted free agent, the Nets can match any offer sheet that Claxton signs. In this scenario, a trade put together by Greg Swartz over at Bleacher Report, they work out a sign-and-trade after Claxton agrees to an offer sheet with the Oklahoma City Thunder.
The Thunder were shopping Kenrich Williams and Mike Muscala heading into the trade deadline but no move came to fruition. They were looking for draft compensation in return for both of them, but in this hypothetical deal, they turned the duo into a helpful piece at the center position.
