Tyrese Maxey
The Philadelphia 76ers are a team that could potentially look to make another splash this offseason. They already added James Harden ahead of the trade deadline, but some people don’t believe they are done. Bradley Beal has been mentioned as a possible addition to create a Big 3 in the City of Brotherly Love.
No one knows what Beal is planning to do as he has a player option for the 2022-23 season. Many are expecting him to decline it and become a free agent, but he is reportedly leaning toward returning to the Wizards. If that occurs, the 76ers could turn their attention to someone such as Mitchell if they are determined to make a Big 3.
A similar deal to which they would offer the Wizards could be offered to Utah. Tyrese Maxey, who has broken out this season and exploded in his playoff debut, would likely be the centerpiece of a deal. Matisse Thybulle would be requested as well.
Tobias Harris would have to be included in the deal, but if the Utah Jazz does not want him, the 76ers can find a third team to get involved to take on his contract. Adding Mitchell would give Philadelphia that third star, but also a younger one that is the focal point of the team in a few seasons.

Mitchell will still not be 30-years old when his contract is over, while Embiid will be 33 at the end of his and Harden is likely to opt-out and sign a long-term deal that could lock him into a deal until he is 36 or 37.
