LeBron James Joins the Golden State Warriors
Sure, this seems outrageous. LeBron James teaming up with Stephen Curry on the team that has beaten him three times in the NBA finals. But, it may not be as far-fetched as you might think. James watched as his Lakers fell flat on their face this past season.
Anthony Davis is always injured and the Russell Westbrook experience was a mess. Maybe he is looking for the next big move of his career.
James will be entering his age 38 season and he should no longer have to be relied on for his team’s success. So that is why joining the Warriors would do wonders for him. LeBron will be able to take a “backseat” on the Warriors and not worry about playing 40 minutes a night just to win.
James has even recently expressed his willingness to play with Curry,
Not to mention, James has selected Curry each of the past two years in the All-Star game draft.
This Warriors team with James would be eerily similar to the one with Kevin Durant. Both elite scorers playing with the most unselfish players in the league. As long as they are healthy the sky would be the limit for this squad.
LATEST NBA NEWS & TRADE RUMORS: 3 Intriguing Blockbuster Trades We’d Like To See This Offseason
LeBron’s contract with the Lakers ends after next season so if he decides not to re-sign they could look to move him this offseason. Some package of Andrew Wiggins, James Wiseman, Jonathan Kuminga, and draft picks could be enough to acquire the 38-year old star.
While a lot of NBA fans would hate to see this happen. Therefore, it would be thrilling to see one of the best players in NBA history change teams for the fourth time.
