Making the Case: LA Clippers
Like the New York Knicks, the point guard position has been a struggle for years for the LA Clippers. The difference is that the Clippers added two of the best players in the game while the Knicks fail to improve.
Los Angeles decided to keep Jackson in town because he takes the pressure off Leonard and George. He can handle the ball in the half-court while allowing their stars to set themselves up off the ball. Walker can add this luxury to the second unit.
There were some problems with Walker during his one year with the Knicks. This does not necessarily mean that he is finished. He shot 36.7% from three-point range last season and had a 40-point game mixed in.
There would not be pressure on Walker to get back to his starting-caliber level because the Clippers are set in the frontcourt with their first unit. Instead, he could fit right into the bench while contributing to a winner.

This is a low-risk move for the Clippers because of what they would give up. Also, Walker has just one year left on his contract.
