Philadelphia 76ers Hang On to Win Series
Though the Toronto Raptors very well could cause issues for the Philadelphia 76ers – and the Sixers cause enough for themselves already – the 76ers will still win this series in 6 or 7 games.
Toronto won the season series with Philadelphia 3-1, but the playoffs can be a whole different monster. With Embiid’s minutes rising from 34 per game to likely around 40, Toronto will have to deal with the MVP-level threat for a lot more game time.
Harden has struggled thus far in Philadelphia, but expect a player of his caliber to put things together in time for the playoffs. Harden’s struggles have been overblown, and if he plays smart, he should be fine.
Toronto has had a spectacular season after a slow start and has enjoyed the spectacular rise of Rookie-of-the-Year candidate Scottie Barnes. With a bright future ahead, this series will only be a minor setback for a team, expect them to come back stronger next year.
