Memphis Grizzlies Win Series In Six Games

The Minnesota Timberwolves are in a very similar situation that the Grizzlies were in last season. They were an up-and-coming team without much expectations coming into the season, but had an excellent showing and earned a spot in the playoff field.

This series will play out very similarly to how things went for Memphis last season, as well. The Timberwolves will surprise a lot of people, winning Game 1 in Memphis, just as the Grizzlies surprised the Utah Jazz last year. But, the Timberwolves will ultimately succumb to the Grizzlies, a team that is just one step ahead of them in the rebuilding process.

The Grizzlies will win this series in six games, as their experience from last season will ultimately be the deciding factor. There is only so long that Patrick Beverley will be able to contain Ja Morant, who will get the best of him leading the Grizzlies into the second round.

Minnesota will reload this offseason around their core of Towns, Edwards, and D’Angelo Russell and be competing with Memphis for homecourt in the 2023 NBA Playoffs.
