After looking at last NBA season, it might be surprising to see which team in this deal is trending in the right direction. The New Orleans Pelicans have found a way to work themselves into a play-in spot.

Amazingly enough, they have done so without Zion Williamson. Brandon Ingram has played well while CJ McCollum was a welcomed addition at the NBA trade deadline. With this acquisition, the Pelicans now have a chance to move one of their stars.

Williamson has been viewed as the centerpiece of the franchise but that might not be the case anymore after his injuries. Either way, there is still a chance that Ingram is moved and if this happens, many teams will be interested.

The New York Knicks should be open to anything after the disappointing season they have gone through. After being the fourth seed in the Eastern Conference last season, the Knicks failed to qualify for the postseason and were not a threat for the duration of the season.
