The 2021-22 NBA regular season will be wrapping up in the coming days. The season will continue next week for eight teams as the NBA Play-In Tournament will take place. After that, only four teams will emerge, joining the 12 other teams that were able to earn a top-six seed in their respective conferences and a spot in the playoff field.
Their offseason preparations have already begun for the teams that aren’t qualifying for the playoffs. This is the first typical offseason the NBA will have in a few years, as the COVID-19 pandemic through the league calendar for a loop.
This offseason, we could see a lot of player movement via trades. With a limited number of teams projected to have salary-cap space, trades could be the only avenue for teams to upgrade their roster.
Rumors are swirling about what some teams could do, as we could see some significant changes this summer. The Los Angeles Lakers and Utah Jazz are among the teams that could have changes not only on the roster but the coaching staff as well.
