Is Tom Thibodeau the right head coach?
It is natural that the head coach gets some blame when a team declines as much and as fast as the New York Knicks have. Tom Thibodeau was considered a savior of sorts last season but that tune has changed.
The Knicks have already committed to Thibodeau coming back next season but this does not necessarily mean he is the right man for the job. Can New York put together a team that fits his coaching style?
Last season, the Knicks won with defense. They saw some talent on that end of the floor left in the offseason beginning with Reggie Bullock.
Adding names like Evan Fournier and Kemba Walker did not help the defensive prowess of the team. Also, when Thibodeau was hired, there were some critiques of the way he handles a rotation.
