The One Player The Los Angeles Lakers Need To Target
Figuring out a trade package for the Los Angeles Lakers isn’t easy. They do not have many assets in the way of tradable contracts and their draft capital is virtually nonexistent. Being in win-now mode has cost them flexibility and it is costing them now.
Acquiring Westbrook used up basically all of the assets Los Angeles had left. So, Pelinka or whoever is overseeing the front office will have to get creative when restocking the roster this offseason.
The one player that can help overcome some of their biggest issues is Myles Turner of the Indiana Pacers. Turner would help overcome a lot of the issues that the team has given a unique skill set that he possesses.
Turner is an elite rim protector and can space the floor offensively with his 3-point shooting. Had he not injured his foot, there is a good chance that he would have been traded ahead of the NBA Trade Deadline this year.

Indiana reportedly has big plans for Turner and their new point guard, Tyrese Haliburton, but the Lakers should still push to make a deal. The Pacers have plenty of young players that can soak up minutes at the center spot and could be open to adding more assets.
Let’s take a look at why Indiana Pacers center Myles Turner is the right target for the Los Angeles Lakers.
