3. F Keegan Murray, Iowa
The Houston Rockets are projected, right now, to stay inside the top-five of the 2022 NBA Draft. They have a 47.9 percent chance to land the No. 5 overall pick, which would definitely be a disappointment for a team that has spent nearly the entire season at the bottom of the standings.
Houston will have to be prepared for anything, so they will likely be casting a wide net when evaluating prospects. One player they should keep their eye on if they fall outside of the top-three is Keegan Murray of Iowa.
Murray had an excellent season for the Hawkeyes, averaging 23.5 points, 8.7 rebounds, 1.5 assists, 1.9 blocks, and 1.3 steals per game. His age, as he will be 22 when the season begins, will be considered a negative by some, but whoever selects him is getting a player that will be able to contribute on both ends of the court right away.
His blend of skills will translate to production from Day 1 in the NBA. Some of the younger players who may have more upside could take a while to reach even the level Murray is at now.

Given how many projects the Houston Rockets already have on their roster, taking a safer player in Murray would make some sense. He could immediately step into the starting power forward spot and would make for a good tandem with Christian Wood should he not be traded.
