Jaden McDaniels – Minnesota Timberwolves
The Detroit Pistons should not actively be pursuing Jaden McDaniels in a trade involving Jerami Grant, but should the Minnesota Timberwolves be a team to show interest in Grant this upcoming offseason, McDaniels is definitely a young talent the Pistons should want to add.
Jaden McDaniels was drafted 28th overall in 2020 by the Timberwolves and while he has yet to solidify his role on the Timberwolves’ roster, McDaniels possesses a ton of potential because of his size and athleticism.
Standing nearly 6’10” with a 7-foot wingspan, Jaden McDaniels would be a really strong fit next to Isaiah Stewart, who is more of a “bruiser-like” big man than an athletic, versatile player.
These two bigs would compliment each other quite nicely in Detroit and McDaniels is only 21-years-old, pairing him age-wise nicely with the rest of the Pistons’ young roster.

In a trade with the Timberwolves involving Jerami Grant, the Pistons could also show interest in Jarred Vanderbilt, another young power-forward, and sharpshooter Malik Beasley other than Jaden McDaniels.
The Timberwolves do have some young, versatile players that they could look to leverage in the offseason in attempts to add more talent to their roster, which is why the Pistons could be interested in hearing out an offer from them involving Jerami Grant.
