Does this trade make sense for the Washington Wizards?

If the Wizards can acquire Jerami Grant without giving up Kyle Kuzma, Rui Hachimura or Deni Avdija, they should pull-the-trigger on the trade. 

Jerami Grant makes the Wizards much better than they currently are because he helps give them an identity, specifically on the offensive-end of the floor. 

Bradley Beal being out right now does not help the Wizards in any way, but their offense has really struggled and Kylz Kuzma has been their only productive scorer as of late. 

With Jerami Grant, the Wizards would have another high-level option to play through and with Beal on the floor, Washington suddenly has three key secondary scorers in Porzingis, Kuzma and Grant, all of which make them a strong, taller defensive team as well.

Kentavious Caldwell-Pope should absolutely be viewed as a trade asset for the Wizards in the offseason and while they would lose some future assets by giving up Kispert and a first-round pick this year, the Wizards need to view themselves as a team that needs to win right now, especially with Beal’s future in question.

This trade ensures that the Wizards are devoted to helping Bradley Beal, which is why they need to make a move like this one.
