New York Knicks forward Cam Reddish cannot catch a break. Just as he was finally receiving consistent playing time since the NBA All-Star Break and starting to find a rhythm with his new team, he will be heading to the sidelines with an injury.

Reddish has been announced out for Wednesday’s matchup with the Dallas Mavericks with what the team is calling a sprained shoulder.

There have been no other details provided about the injury and a timetable for his return was not revealed either. He was seen walking into the New York Knicks’ locker room after the game with his right arm in a sling.

Reddish came down hard following a blocked shot in Monday’s game against the Sacramento Kings. He went up to block a layup attempt from Davion Mitchell but fell awkwardly as he was unable to brace his fall, landing on his shoulder and hitting his head on the floor.

With Cam Reddish on the sideline, the Knicks are going to be thin on the wing as rookie Quentin Grimes is also rehabbing from a knee injury.

With Grimes unable to return tonight, we could see some major minutes for RJ Barrett, Alec Burks, and Immanuel Quickley in this New York Knicks vs Dallas Mavericks matchup.
