Dallas Mavericks
What the Mavericks plan to do in the offseason probably depends a lot on how this season finishes for them. Dallas’ front office probably has not given any thought to what they will do in the offseason simply because of the fact that they are a dark-horse contender in the Western Conference.
Luka Doncic is playing at an MVP level right now and the Mavericks are currently the 5-seed in the Western Conference, so anything could happen with them in the playoffs.
However, Doncic is the only reliable contributor for this team offensively right now and while they have their backcourt covered with Jalen Brunson and Spencer Dinwiddie, the Mavericks’ frontcourt is a mess.
With Kristaps Porzingis gone, the Mavericks have been left with Maxi Kleber and Dwight Powell as their only real options at center, as the team refuses to play Boban Marjanovic for some reason.

Dwight Powell does not seem like someone that is in the Mavericks’ long-term plans as of right now and with them possibly needing a true center, Richaun Holmes could be a nice piece for them to target not only because he is affordable, but because he can provide second-chance scoring opportunities for Luka Doncic, one of the league’s best scoring weapons.
Finding scoring from players outside of Doncic will be key for the Mavericks moving forward and Richaun Holmes is someone they could depend on to score around the basket.
