Dwight Howard
At this point in his career, Dwight Howard is nothing more than a player that is well past his prime. Dwight Howard had some good years in Houston and played a key role in the Lakers’ 2020 championship run, but what has he really done for them this season other than take up minutes and make the Lakers feel like they are playing 4-on-5 sometimes?
His accolades speak for themselves and Dwight Howard will be a Hall-of-Famer one day, but it is time to hang things up at 36-years-old.
This season has been the most inefficient season of Dwight Howard’s career and with him being a free agent in the offseason, it would not be surprising to see him go ahead and just retire.
From the Lakers’ standpoint, they do not really need to “move” Howard in the offseason since he will be a free agent, but they should definitely stay away from signing him if he does not retire.
