Malcolm Brogdon would present the Knicks with a stable veteran that can get downhill often throughout games and take pressure off RJ Barrett and Julius Randle in the creation department.
Perhaps what makes Brogdon all the more intriguing as a point guard option for the Knicks is his ability to make an impact as a defender coupled with his complementary traits on offense. He can knock down the spot-up jumper or attack aggressively off the catch and make a play.
Derrick Rose would still be around and can pick up where Brogdon leaves off in terms of getting into the paint when the Knicks look to make substitutions.
