Pursue Another All-Star To Pair With Trae Young
At the end of the day, the NBA is driven by All-Star-led teams. In the Eastern Conference, the Heat, Bulls, Bucks, Nets, 76ers, Celtics, Raptors, and Cavaliers all have at least two All-Star talents.
In the Western Conference, the Suns, Warriors, Jazz, Timberwolves and others have paired All-Star talents together. The Atlanta Hawks have Trae Young, but they do not have another high-level, All-Star-level player that can help them against the likes of the top teams in the Eastern Conference.
This season, the Hawks rank 2nd in offensive rating, but they really do not have many consistent scoring options outside of Trae Young.
Bogdan Bogdanovic has been a streaky three-point shooting threat all season long, even though he has been hot as of late, and it is hard to say that John Collins is a reliable scoring threat every night.

Nobody other than Trae Young can create space and opportunities for themselves on this roster, which is why the Hawks need to make a move for another All-Star talent.
Bulls’ Zach LaVine will be a free agent this offseason, making him a potential target for the Hawks, but it is hard to imagine that the Bulls will let their All-Star go elsewhere.
On the trade market, not many All-Star talents are available, but Jerami Grant, Malcolm Brogdon and Tobias Harris could all be potential targets for the Atlanta Hawks in the offseason given that all three players can create for themselves and play off-the-ball.
