Bradley Beal

The Wizards have the rest of this season to show that they have enough talent on the roster to convince Bradley Beal to sign a long-term deal to stay with the team. The trade they made ahead of the deadline to acquire Kristaps Porzingis from the Dallas Mavericks was a shrewd move.

Washington parted ways with Spencer Dinwiddie and Davis Bertans. Both players have struggled this season and neither has the upside that Porzingis does when he is healthy. He is a former All-Star and a good pairing along with Bradley Beal as a second option.

However, there is still a chance that Bradley Beal wants to leave. If that is the case, he should try working with the team on a sign-and-trade deal, as the teams with cap space likely won’t intrigue Beal too much.

One team that would be a great landing spot for him is the Denver Nuggets. The Nuggets are on the cusp of being legitimate contenders. Building a package around Michael Porter Jr. could be enough to get the Wizards to the negotiating table as they would assuredly like to get something in return for Bradley Beal instead of seeing him walk in free agency for nothing.
