Perhaps the biggest news to come out of All-Star Weekend is the fact that Chris Paul is expected to miss 6-8 weeks with an avulsion fracture in his right thumb.

The future Hall-of-Fame point guard currently leads the league in assists per game at 10.7 and leads the league in assists as a whole with a total of 619 assists on the season, 126 in front of Trae Young in second-place.
The final day of the 2021-22 regular season is on April 10 and as a result, Chris Paul runs the risk of being out right up until the end of the season. His status for the start of the playoffs is definitely in question at this point and without Paul on the floor, the Suns may really struggle.
