Toronto Raptors
Similar to how the Celtics got off to a slow start this season, the Toronto Raptors started the year 14-17 and were a very average, .500-type team entering the month of February. However, the Raptors have won 9 of their last 11 games and are now 32-25 on the season, just 5 games back from first place in the Eastern Conference.
Pascal Siakam and Fred VanVleet have both been playing at All-Star levels for this team and with Scottie Barnes, OG Anunoby, and Gary Trent Jr. rounding out their starting rotation, the Toronto Raptors have one of the toughest starting fives in the entire league.
The problem with the Toronto Raptors though is that their bench ranks dead-last in the league in scoring and their starting unit has accounted for about 62% of the team’s total minutes this season.
This may not seem like a lot, but the Raptors are going to run into a big fatigue problem come time for the playoffs simply because their starters are asked to do everything for this franchise.

Whether it is adding another shooter on the bench behind Gary Trent Jr in the rotation or finding another forward to give some breaks to Pascal Siakam and OG Anunoby, the Toronto Raptors need a little bit of help since they are scratching and clawing their way up the standings.
Toronto can avoid having to play in the play-in tournament altogether this season, which is why adding another veteran or two could go a long way in them being a real playoff contender.
