Paul Millsap – Brooklyn Nets
Paul Millsap was one of the last big names to sign with a team in free agency this past offseason and while he looked to be a big addition for the Brooklyn Nets, his impact has been minimal this season.
Millsap’s fit in Brooklyn just has not worked out the way both sides had imagined and just a couple of weeks ago, The Athletic’s Shams Charania reported that Paul Millsap and the Brooklyn Nets have agreed to find the four-time All-Star a new team where he can have a greater impact.
In 24 total games for Brooklyn this season, Paul Millsap has averaged 3.4 points, 3.7 rebounds and has shot just 37.6% from the floor in about 11.3 minutes per game.
The former All-Star big man never really presented much off-the-bench for the Nets and he has slowly become less impactful through the years as he nears the end of his career.

However, Paul Millsap was still effective the last two seasons in Denver and could very well have an impact still off the bench for a team who is actually looking for more frontcourt help.
Should the Nets be unable to trade Paul Millsap ahead of the trade deadline, it is not hard to believe that they will buy him out of his minimum contract.
The Lakers and Bulls are both said to be interested in Millsap in the buyout market, but other playoff teams like the Celtics, Grizzlies, and Nuggets could also show interest in the veteran big man.
Once a very impactful frontcourt option, Paul Millsap is now about to be 37-years-old and does not bring much to the table in this league anymore.

It would not be surprising to see Paul Millsap retire at the end of the season, regardless if he remains on the Nets roster or not.
