Indiana Pacers Receive: G/F Joe Harris, C Nic Claxton, 2026 Second-Round Pick
Brooklyn Nets Receive: C Myles Turner
This trade between the Indiana Pacers and Brooklyn Nets was put together by Greg Swartz over at Bleacher Report. He put together a deal for each team in the NBA ahead of the deadline, and this one was done from the Pacers’ perspective.
Indiana has gone through with its plans on rebuilding the roster. If they choose to finish the job by moving on from Myles Turner as well, there will be plenty of suitors. Could one of them be the Nets?
Brooklyn is currently in a free fall down the standings in the Eastern Conference. They were in first place at Christmas but now find themselves in the NBA Play-In Tournament as they navigate rocky waters with Kevin Durant injured, James Harden ailing, and Kyrie Irving remaining a part-time player.
Upgrading the center position would go a long way to stabilizing things once they are all healthy. Turner is a huge upgrade on the players they are trotting out there now as an elite rim protector and solid floor spacer offensively.
