Memphis Grizzlies
The Grizzlies are currently 36-18 and one of the best teams in the entire NBA. Ja Morant is playing at a true MVP-level for this team right now and while there is a lot of talk about the Suns and Warriors at the top of the Western Conference standings, the Grizzlies could very much find their way into the Western Conference Championship this season.
They are young, but Memphis plays like a group of 10-year veterans. With a ton of depth on their roster and a ton of young, dynamic playmakers, there are really no limits to what this Grizzlies team can achieve.
Heading into the trade deadline, there have been thoughts that GM Zach Kleiman could be aggressive, but the Grizzlies are not really wanting to shake up their roster too much.
If they make any move at all, it will be to add some more shooting depth, hence why Kent Bazemore could fall into their laps. His struggles this season in Los Angeles have been well documented and he has barely played in recent weeks, but Memphis currently ranks 23rd in three-point shooting percentage as a team.
Three-point shooting seems to be one of the only weaknesses of the Grizzlies this season and while Bazemore does not solve the problem, he is someone that teams would have to respect coming off-the-bench.
LATEST NBA NEWS & TRADE RUMORS: Lakers Looking To Trade Bazemore Ahead Of Deadline
The only problem with acquiring Bazemore ahead of the trade deadline for Memphis though is figuring out who to move on from in a trade. They do not want to shake up their roster whatsoever right now, which is why a deal for Kent Bazemore, or virtually anyone, most likely will not happen for the Grizzlies.
