Portland Trail Blazers Receive: G/F Tim Hardaway Jr., F Reggie Bullock, 2025 First-Round Pick (Lottery Protected), 2022 Second-Round Pick, $10.6 million trade exception
This hypothetical trade was put together by Greg Swartz of Bleacher Report. He builds some trade packages to blow up the playoff race this season and he certainly achieves that with this one between the Dallas Mavericks and Portland Trail Blazers.
This is a deal that has major positives for both sides. For the Mavericks, they are getting a player in CJ McCollum that helps fill some of their biggest needs. He is a legitimate three-level scorer and brings some more playmaking to take pressure off of Luka Doncic and Jalen Brunson.
Larry Nance Jr. is the perfect piece for Dallas’ frontcourt. He can play both forward spots and center, providing excellent defense at all three.
Both are under contract beyond this season, enabling the Mavericks to build chemistry and cohesion beyond this season.
