Miami Heat Receive: C Christian Wood
Houston Rockets Receive: G/F Duncan Robinson, F KZ Okpala, 2024 First-Round Pick, 2026 First-Round Pick.

This trade would give the Miami Heat another All-Star-caliber player to throw in their lineup, while the Houston Rockets would get a nice haul for their big man. Christian Wood could either start alongside Bam Adebayo or be an elite bench piece.

Wood is putting together a great season in Houston this year, increasing his trade value. He’s averaging 17.4 points, 10.2 rebounds, and 2.1 assists while shooting 48.2 percent from the field and 36.6 percent from three-point range.

Duncan Robinson, on the other hand, has struggled to live up to the contract extension he received this past summer. The 27-year-old is putting up 12.1 points, 3.2 rebounds, and 1.5 assists while shooting 40.2 percent from the field and 36.6 percent from deep.

KZ Okpala hasn’t played much this season but has actually been alright in his limited minutes. He’s averaging 3.7 points and 2.0 rebounds while shooting 43.5 percent from the field and 34.6 percent from behind the arc. He’s only 22 years old and has shown real potential on the defensive end.
