The Memphis Grizzlies have been one of the more impressive teams around the NBA so far during the 2021-22 season. They find themselves ranking third in the Western Conference standings with a 34-17 record and still are executing at a high level having won seven of their last 10 games.
One of the limiting factors the Grizzlies, like all teams around the league, have experienced this season has been a significant number of games lost due to injury or the NBA’s health and safety protocol.
Currently, the Grizzlies find themselves playing without Dillon Brooks (ankle sprain) or Kyle Anderson (Health & Safety protocol). Memphis has been forced to rely more on their depth as a result.
The main issue for the Grizzlies has been that Ziaire Williams is still a raw prospect that sorely needs to develop his perimeter shooting while Jarrett Culver hasn’t amounted to being much in Memphis.
