Haliburton isn’t an option. What about Jaylen Brown? This is a deal the Boston Celtics have been against and shut down early in the season. Well, at this point, the Celtics might want to revisit the idea of trading Brown this season.

It has been another mediocre start for the Celtics and it does not look like it is going to get better. They are currently at .500 and fighting for a postseason spot in the East.

The Celtics are not the championship contender that they have been in year’s past. It could be time to split up the duo of Brown and Jayson Tatum. It seems unlikely that Boston will be able to find a trade partner to add a third star to the team. That means Brown could be the odd man out.

The offseason was underwhelming for Boston, as they just signed Marcus Smart and Robert Williams to new deals.

It is time for Brad Stevens to make his first real blockbuster in the front office. If a Brown-Simmons deal is on the table, both sides should be interested.
