Tyrese Haliburton

Tyrese Haliburton burst onto the scene as a rookie. He averaged 13.0 points and dished out 5.3 assists per contest. The problem is that he plays for the Sacramento Kings. This is not exactly a recipe for success.

There have been many players mentioned in trade talks and that includes both point guards in Sacramento.

It recently came out that a Kings-Sixers deal would not include Haliburton or De’Aaron Fox. Well who would be involved? This means the Philadelphia 76ers would take on some expiring contracts, including Marvin Bagley III, along with the likes of Buddy Hield and maybe Richaun Holmes. This seems like a head-scratcher. The Sixers should be interested in the young, talented point guard.

The concern here might be if the Sixers have to part ways with Tyrese Maxey, who has stepped in nicely and turned into a fan favorite. Haliburton has continued to be a well-rounded option with 14.0 points and 7.2 assists per game during his sophomore campaign.

Players have been in and out of talks but who knows at this point. Haliburton is the type of young guard that would fit in with the Sixers and could give them another player for years to come.
