Their roster is one of the most balanced and best constructed rosters in the entire league and by going after Wood, Phoenix would be losing a key bench talent in Cameron Johnson. He truly is one of this team’s “glue guys” and while his production can be replaced, his energy cannot be. 

Cam Johnson has been a vital part of the Suns’ success through the years and with him only going to get better, the Suns would be foolish to move him. In terms of numbers, Christian Wood certainly provides more scoring and rebounding, but he could also throw off this team’s rotations.
