The LA Clippers have one of the most dangerous teams on paper in the NBA. The Kawhi Leonard and Paul George duo on the wing with no shortage of shooting and defensive versatility is enough to pose problems for just about any team around the league.

It’s been a struggle for the Clippers to put all of the pieces together since acquiring Leonard and George. The team did not quite fare well in the NBA Bubble and then Leonard suffering a torn ACL injury in last year’s playoffs put an end to the hope of an NBA Finals appearance.

The expectations surrounding the Clippers have been tempered with Leonard sidelined as he recovers from his torn ACL. However, there’s reason for optimism about their chances of pulling off a surprise run.

According to Chris Haynes on NBA on TNT, Kawhi Leonard is ‘ahead of schedule’ in his rehab and that a return is a ‘strong possibility.’ In the full story from Haynes, he mentioned that Leonard has ‘amped up’ his workload in recent weeks and is showing clear progress.
