Does this trade make sense for the Los Angeles Lakers?
Again, Terrence Ross is going to make a minor difference for this team on offense and he is not the difference in them flipping their season around, but he can provide a sense of stability off-the-bench.
Right now, LeBron James is carrying the Los Angeles Lakers and at 37-years-old, this is very concerning. We have already seen James deal with injuries over the last two seasons in Los Angeles and if he gets hurt again, not only will this team’s championship hopes crash down, but so will their playoff chances.
They must get him some more help offensively ahead of the trade deadline and if guys like Jerami Grant, Norman Powell and Derrick White are unobtainable in trade talks, then someone like Terrence Ross could make a ton of sense.
He is an experienced scorer that can create space for himself, he can put the ball on the ground and get to the rim and most importantly, Ross can consistently score 10-12 points per night.

Talen Horton-Tucker and Kendrick Nunn have not and will not make a big difference for this team’s chances of being great, which is why moving their contracts right now makes the most sense for this organization to try and improve.
