Would this trade make sense for the Chicago Bulls?

When the Chicago Bulls opted to give up multiple first-round picks along with Wendell Carter Jr. to land Nikola Vucevic at last year’s NBA trade deadline, it was clear the focus is to win right away.

If there was a chance for the Bulls to add a versatile wing like Jerami Grant, it would be a no-brainer for them to look to get a deal done. Even if it takes giving up Patrick Williams.

The value Grant has displayed in complementary roles as a member of contenders has already been proven. He was a pivotal element of the Denver Nuggets’ recent success alongside Nikola Jokic and was also quite helpful next to Paul George and Russell Westbrook with the Oklahoma City Thunder.

The Bulls would probably need to be confident in their chances to retain Grant for this to be an ideal trade option, however. He is signed through the 2022-23 season and then will become an unrestricted free agent.
