Would this trade make sense for the Indiana Pacers?
The Indiana Pacers have achieved plenty of success when either Domantas Sabonis or Myles Turner are out of the lineup and one of them has played as the lone big on the floor.
While that may be the case, the Pacers do not need to be in the business of dumping one of their bigs for the sake of moving them. Indiana will need to receive a genuinely intriguing return to part with Turner.
There are plenty of other suitors who could offer a better trade package to the Pacers for Turner than the Bucks. Lopez shouldn’t be viewed as having strong value when considering the circumstances—lowering the appeal of this trade idea.
When factoring in how the Pacers would be parting with a center with the idea of better balancing out the supporting cast, taking on Lopez wouldn’t be the best of options.

Donte DiVincenzo stands at just 6-foot-4 and has dealt with injury concerns of his own. For a team that already has too many shooting guards, it doesn’t seem to make much sense to pursue a deal where DiVincenzo is the headliner.
