Indiana Pacers Receive: C Brook Lopez, G Donte DiVincenzo, Second-Round Picks
Milwaukee Bucks Receive: C Myles Turner

In a hypothetical NBA trade scenario floated by ESPN’s Zach Lowe, the Milwaukee Bucks would acquire Myles Turner from the Indiana Pacers in exchange for Brook Lopez, Donte DiVincenzo, and multiple second round picks.

Lopez is signed through the 2022-23 season and is set to earn $13.3 million this season and $13.9 million next. He has been sidelined since the Bucks’ regular season opener due to back issues and underwent surgery recently—sidelining him indefinitely.

DiVincenzo will be done with his rookie deal soon and will need to land another contract while having a $14 million cap hold in the offseason after the 2022-23 campaign.

The Bucks would take on Turner’s contract, which will pay him upwards of $18 million for the rest of this season and next season. He was extension eligible this past offseason but did not get a deal done with the Pacers. He will be entering the final year of his contract next season.

Both the Bucks and Pacers would need to resolve the long-term contract status of their respective incoming players in a trade of this nature. However, it would split Indiana’s two big frontcourt and give Milwaukee a younger stretch-five in Turner.

Let’s take a look at how this NBA trade scenario would impact both the Indiana Pacers and Milwaukee Bucks.
