There is a lot of skill-set overlap on the Indiana Pacers but with TJ Warren sidelined, one of the types of players that lack is a wing player that can get it done on both ends with shot creation ability.
It seems quite logical for the Pacers to break up their two big-man tandem. Given the results when either Domantas Sabonis or Myles Turner is serving as the lone starting big, it would be a net positive to trade either one of those players. For now, we aren’t focused on that topic of discussion, however.
After moving from one of their centers, the Indiana Pacers will have an even greater for a wing player that can guard multiple positions and attack off the catch as the ball moves around with spacing.
Reddish has shown to be able to achieve both of those things while also showing the ability to convert on pull-ups. The consistency needs to improve with Reddish’s shot creation. Could he do so in a larger role? That’s worth finding out if you’re the Pacers.

It hasn’t been easy for the Indiana Pacers to find a long-term wing solution since being put in a position to have to trade Paul George. Again, while there are no guarantees in the NBA with player development, taking the risk with Reddish would be an intriguing possibility.
