The Detroit Pistons, current owners of the worst record in the NBA, are trading their best player to the Atlanta Hawks, who are looking to elevate their ceiling after making it to the Eastern Conference Finals in last season’s playoffs.

Grant is someone that the Pistons love and he enjoys being with the organization but has found his name being included in NBA trade rumors as of late.

People have to be realistic about Detroit’s outlook. They aren’t near contenders and by the time that they are, Grant very well could be long-gone or nearing the end of his prime.

Cam Reddish was the No. 10 overall pick in the 2019 NBA Draft while Onyeka Okongwu was the No. 6 overall pick in the 2020 NBA Draft. Both have dealt with injuries thus far in their careers but have All-Star potential as fits for the modern NBA.
