Sacramento Kings Receive: F Derrick Jones Jr., 2022 First-Round Pick (Lottery Protected)

The Sacramento Kings appear primed to make changes ahead of the NBA trade deadline. However, even before that has become more of a surging topic, there was a sense that Marvin Bagley III would be moved sooner rather than later.

Of course, Bagley III still remains a member of the Kings organization and has managed to get some playing time here and there as other fringe-rotation players like Moe Harkless underachieve.

The sense still remains that Bagley III will be moved at some point, though. The Chicago Bulls could use a bench big man to fill in for Nikola Vucevic when he is sidelined.

Bagley III has not been used as much as a traditional center as much as needed with the Kings experiencing an emergence from Richaun Holmes. Ever since, the outlook has been much weaker for Bagley III.

The trade value for Bagley III is not high but the Kings still seek a first round pick in return to be willing to part ways with him.
