Terrence Ross – Orlando Magic

The Los Angeles Lakers’ “Big 3” is accounting for 50% of the team’s total scoring this season. This is obviously what you want from your “Big 3”, but who else is going to step up for this team on offense?

Carmelo Anthony has been “hit-or-miss” this season and Malik Monk is not a consistent scorer, which is why adding Terrence Ross could be extremely favorable to the Lakers. The 30-year-old veteran is in his 10th NBA season and is continuing to be a high-level scoring option off-the-bench.

This season, Ross is averaging 10.8 points on 39.3% shooting from the floor, but just last season, he averaged a career-high 15.4 points per game and finished the season ranked 10th in the league in total points scored off-the-bench even though he only played in 46 games.

Terrence Ross is one of the better “sixth-man” in this league and with the Lakers needing more offense on their roster, Orlando’s veteran could be a key trade asset for Los Angeles.

The Magic are rebuilding and looking to add as much future value as they can, which is why Talen Horton-Tucker and Kendrick Nunn alone could get this deal done. They are both young talents the Magic could add to their core and Los Angeles would not have to sacrifice any other value.

In fact, they may be able to get a draft pick from the Magic in exchange for Horton-Tucker in this trade!

He may not be a big name or the difference in this team winning another championship, but adding Terrence Ross certainly would not hurt the Los Angeles Lakers and he would be an immediate spark of offense off-the-bench for them.
