Pascal Siakam – Toronto Raptors
In the offseason, one of the more intriguing names that were coming up in trade rumors was Pascal Siakam.
After moving Kyle Lowry and drafting Scottie Barnes, many were asking themselves what was next for this Raptors team and after a 13-14 start to the season, this question still remains unanswered.
Toronto could wind up sneaking into the playoff picture this season, but they have just as good of a chance as ending up in the draft lottery once again.
Rookie Scottie Barnes has played great and the team does like what they have in OG Anunoby and Precious Achiuwa as well, so could they actually look to move Siakam while his value is high?

This is a very reasonable thing to ask right now, especially since the Raptors are no longer title contenders. It seems like they really do believe in Barnes’ abilities as a “point-forward” and while he has had success playing alongside Pascal Siakam, the Raptors could add a lot of future value by leveraging their All-Star forward now.
It is possible that the Raptors could budge on a trade involving Buddy Hield and Marvin Bagley III for Pascal Siakam, but they would likely need some more value.
Rookie Davion Mitchell and some draft picks could be the added on asking price in a trade for Siakam, something the Kings may not consider.
Like Ben Simmons, adding Pascal Siakam would make the Kings better on both ends of the floor and give them another player other than De’Aaron Fox to play through, but they would need to give up a lot more than just Hield and Bagley to acquire him.

Plus, there is still no guarantee that Toronto wants to trade Siakam right now, so he may not be a realistic trade target for the Kings. However, Pascal Siakam is certainly a player Sacramento should want to target and continue to pursue.
