Jeremy Lamb
It is unlikely that a playoff contending team will look to trade for him due to his contract, but Jeremy Lamb has drawn some interest from teams like the Lakers and Heat in recent weeks.
Now in his 10th NBA season, Lamb is a veteran wing that has always been known to be a guy that can provide scoring off-the-bench, but he is still trying to work his way back from some injuries.
Between some ankle injuries and Lamb working his way back from a torn ACL in 2020, Jeremy Lamb does not look like the same explosive player on the wing that he used to be, but he shot 40.6% from three-point range last season and is shooting upwards of 38% again this season in Indiana.
Plenty of teams could utilize this kind of production in their second-unit, especially from a veteran, experienced player, but Lamb is set to make $10.5M in the final year of his contract this season.

Not many teams in the league have the ability to acquire this large of a contract, especially mid-season, which is why teams like the Lakers, Heat and other championship contenders could have their eyes on Jeremy Lamb as a possible buyout option.
Should the Pacers make some big trades to get rid of Sabonis, Turner and/or LeVert, not only will they begin their rebuild, but they will look to get young talents involved.
Rookie Chris Duarte has already overtaken Lamb on the team’s depth chart and if they want to just move on from him after failing to move him at the trade deadline, the Pacers could look to buy him out.
It is definitely unlikely that this will occur, especially since he is in the final year of his contract, but it is no secret that the Pacers want to get rid of him.

There are a couple of teams who could move some players around in order to bring in Jeremy Lamb’s $10.5M contract for this season, but at the same time, the question that would need to be asked is if he is worth doing so.
