Justin Holiday

Outside of Sabonis, LeVert and Turner, Justin Holiday is the next best player that could become available in trade talks from Indiana. On the season, Holiday is averaging 9.9 points, 2.8 rebounds and is shooting 35.7% from three-point range.

Known for being a “3-and-D” player on the wing, Holiday has really turned himself into a key role player in Indiana through the years. Prior to joining the Pacers ahead of the 2019-20 season, Holiday had only averaged more than 8.0 points per game in a season twice. He has done so the last two years with the Pacers and is currently doing so again this season.

Whether he is in the starting-unit or coming off-the-bench, Justin Holiday is just one of those guys in the NBA that you know what you are getting from. He is a consistent three-point shooter, as well as an above-average defender on the wing and the best part about any team interested in him right now is that his contract is affordable.

Holiday is only making $6M this season and then $6.2M next season, which is definitely under-value for what he does on the floor. Justin Holiday is not the kind of player that will change a franchise, but he truly is one of the better players in the league a team can have on their bench.

Being experienced, as well as understanding of his role, Justin Holiday brings a lot to the table, especially for a playoff threat. Teams like the Nuggets, Nets, Bucks, Heat and Timberwolves looking for some “replacement talent” on the wing should show interest in Justin Holiday, but he could come at a price.
