Boston Celtics Receive: G De’Aaron Fox, G Buddy Hield

In an NBA trade scenario from HoopsHabit’s Jack Simone, the Boston Celtics would land De’Aaron Fox and Buddy Hield while sending Jaylen Brown, Josh Richardson, Payton Pritchard, and Juancho Hernangomez to the Sacramento Kings in exchange.

Fox is playing in the first year of a five-year, $163 million contract. He will be playing through the 2025-26 season on this current deal, to put it into perspective.

Brown is signed to a substantially lower contract than Fox. For reference, he signed a four-year, $106.3 million contract and it runs through the 2023-24 campaign.

Factoring in Buddy Hield in this trade package is an intriguing element to take into consideration. He would fill in at the starting shooting guard spot alongside Fox in the backcourt. Jayson Tatum would still remain as the franchise-cornerstone on the wing.
