Cam Reddish – Atlanta Hawks
The Atlanta Hawks did not really make a lot of moves this offseason and they basically retained their entire roster from a season ago, but there were some rumors near the draft that former lottery-pick Cam Reddish was available.
Seeing as De’Andre Hunter is out indefinitely for the Hawks right now, Reddish’s value has increased, but it is not a stretch to believe that he would still be available for the right price. The former 10th overall pick has one year left on his rookie contract after this season and is someone the Hawks are probably not going to want to keep long-term because of their financial situation right now.
Atlanta is currently right under the tax line for this season and with the contracts of Trae Young, John Collins, and Clint Capela increasing, as well as a potential extension for Hunter on the horizon, the Hawks are not going to be able to afford to keep their entire young core.
A decision is going to be made to keep either De’Andre Hunter or Cam Reddish, especially after the team just extended Kevin Huerter in the offseason as well, which is why Reddish could be moved while his value is high right now.

In 20 games this year, Reddish is averaging 11.9 points, 3.0 rebounds, 1.2 steals and has shot 37.9% from three-point range, making him the lengthy and versatile wing teams around the league are looking for.
Washington may have to be willing to sacrifice a young talent like rookie Corey Kispert or maybe even second-year forward Deni Avdija to acquire Reddish, but the upside the Hawks’ wing brings is definitely worthwhile. Cam Reddish presents a “win-now” mindset to this offensive-minded team, something that Avdija and Kispert do not currently have.
Seeing as the Hawks could utilize more frontcourt depth, maybe Thomas Bryant or rookie Isaiah Todd could be players they target in a trade involving Cam Reddish. Whatever the case may be, Reddish is a key young talent on the wing that can not only contribute right now but continue to grow into a multi-talented, two-way wing in this league.
