Danuel House Jr. – Houston Rockets
While he is not a big name on the trade block, Danuel House Jr. is an experienced shooter that could see quite a bit of interest come the trade deadline. The 28-year-old wing is in his fourth season with the Houston Rockets, but with them rebuilding and focusing on their young talents, House is beginning to be pushed out of the rotation.
The Rockets do not want to keep Danuel House Jr. long-term and being in the final year of his contract, they are going to try and move him for a draft pick and/or a young talent to add to their already talented group of young, athletic players.
For his career, House has averaged 8.9 points, 3.7 rebounds and has shot 36.5% from three-point range, making him a rotational player that can play anywhere from 15-20 minutes per game for a contending team in either conference.
Being a part of championship-caliber teams in Houston through the years, Danuel House Jr. brings playoff knowledge with him, as well as the ability to knock down key shots from the perimeter to any new team he could join.

The Wizards lack three-point shooters right now, as they rank 27th in the league in three-point shooting percentage, which is why at a low cost, Danuel House Jr. is a player that would be worth Washington investing in.
Being owed just $3.8M this season, the Wizards should not have a problem moving one or two bench players for him and they would not have to be worried about paying him long-term.
House would basically be a “rental” for Washington and they would have no problems letting him be an unrestricted free agent in the offseason.
Again, the Rockets’ veteran is not the difference in the Wizards advancing far into the playoffs, but House can provide even more scoring stability on this bench and give Washington another three-point shooting threat. Danuel House Jr. has been a great role player over the years and would definitely help make an impact for a team like the Wizards.

Houston is going to be more than willing to let House go ahead of this season’s trade deadline and if Washington is willing to offer a second-round draft pick and someone like Aaron Holiday or Corey Kispert, they can easily get this deal done.
